Palos Verdes 1/2 Marathon

On May 2nd I ran the Palos Verdes 1/2 marathon with 2 of my friends. Ocean views, rolling hills and a cool breeze- was a pretty great morning! It was a lot of fun and it felt great to get back into shape. Training was a little tricky with feeding schedules and having to get up at the crack of dawn, but I'm glad I did it! Thanks to my boys for all the love and support, and of course to my girls- I couldn't have done it without you!

Half a year

Little G is already 6 months old. I can't even believe I'm saying that. Where does the time go?! He's such a funny little guy. Here's the goods.....

10) he loves to dance in the mirror with mom

9)started eating rice cereal and oatmeal and loves it- soon on to the good stuff

8)he can now roll over and sits up pretty well

7) STILL throwing up buckets..ahhhh!

6)thinks Sophie's tail is the funniest thing he's ever seen

5)likes to swim with dad in the pool

4)is a true boy...lots of tugging, pulling, scratching, pinching, you name it

3)has thighs and biceps the size of a python 

2)is trying hard to talk...making lots of funny sounds with his mouth

1)is officially teething....we are watching for that first tooth!

Sea World

We went to Sea World last weekend for Heaths birthday and had a great time (even though it was a scorcher!)

A  highlight for me was discovering that I am taller than Tracy. It's a rare occurrence so it must be documented. Chalk another one up to me!...........that makes about 4 total. 

Easter Bunny

Looks like someone was excited for the Easter bunny to come......! We had a great Easter weekend filled with family. We've been lucky to have both Grandmas here these past 2 weekends. Its been a treat and so fun for Griffin to get to know them better

Yes I went there.... I've been told by Ben and my dad that this is not a very masculine look, but I went there anyway. Someday he will probably be sad about it, but there isn't anything he can do about it now! He makes quite a cute little boy bunny if I do say so myself

5 months

I can't believe our little guy is already 5 months old! It makes me sad he is getting so big, although he just keeps getting more fun the older he gets. He is learning so many new things everyday and growing so fast. Here are a few things we have learned about our guy.........

10) he loves to put his hands on mine when I clap
9) his all time fav. thing is the bath tub. He splashes so much I'm soaked by the time we're done
8) if you act "surprised" he smiles and laughs
7) he is super ticklish....especially on his shoulders
6) he loves the taste of medicine (yes, sadly hes been sick but man he loved his medicine)
5) he likes to hang upside down like a bat
4) he is constantly sticking out his tongue when he smiles and can fit his whole fist in his mouth
3) his belly is so chubby now I have to lift it up to wash under it in the bath
2) he loves to pinch really hard (not too fun!)
1) he will only stand in your lap....not a big fan of sitting

and.....he is almost rolling over! We love our little guy and feel so blessed to have him in our family.

Little Mustache Birthday Party

Griffin was invited to his first birthday party this past week. His little friend Owen turned one and celebrated in old-man style with a "little mustache birthday". It was super cute and there were a lot of little staches runnin' around. We love our little old man!
