A day with Dad...

A day with just dad =
spending the entire day in your pajamas
wearing church shoes with those pajamas
eating blue suckers as a midmorning snack
getting REALLY dirty
playing on big machinery you're OBSESSED with
pretty much getting to do whatever you want
AND...
having the time of your life while doing it!

(This is something mom probably wouldn't have done so
its nice to have a day with just Dad:)

Part 2

After our fun time in Utah we made our way up to Rexburg for our traditional 4th of July family reunion. I LOVE being home for the 4th and love that all of my family gets together to celebrate. If you want to see 5 million pictures of my family at the Rexburg parade you've come to the right place :)...

A few of my cousins (and my newest SIL Leslie!)

These chairs my Aunt K brought were so cute and perfect for the little ones

Charlotte, Griffin and Wyatt

G consumed about 25 suckers that day

My brother David and his fiance Leslie

After a delicious BBQ at the house we headed down to the splash park for some water fun and a ride on the carousel

Wyatt and Griffin- too cute!

Getting ready for the firework extravaganza
my dad always puts on

Babies playing in the fireworks. hmmmm...

G loved his glow-stick and thought it was hilarious
to put it on his binki as a glowing mustache

A few days later we celebrated my moms 45th birthday ;)...
we went to dinner and surprised her with an ipad that she had been dying to get but didn't think she would get one till Christmas.

Here she is when she realized what it was....

The funny thing is my brother Daniel in this picture....?!!
Hilarious!

Happy Birthday Grandma!

We had only planned to stay a little over a week but 20 mins before we were leaving to go to the airport
little G threw up and ended up having the flu all day
(we all ended up getting it)...
so plans changed and we were able to spend another week in Rexburg. Minus getting sick it was a lot of fun. I got to do a session in the Rexburg Temple for the first time and we spent a lot of time playing in the yard and of course hanging out with friends and family. It was a perfect July.

Can anyone say "teeth please?!"

Beautiful Temple just a few blocks from my house

July Festivities Part 1

July was filled to the brim with lots of summer fun for our family. We were able to see both grandparents and spent lots of time with family and friends. We started off by visiting the Barkers in Millville. Griffin LOVED to see them and had so much fun exploring their backyard, swimming in the pool, visiting the zoo and riding the lawnmower with his dad.
Grandma Barker had lots of fun stuff planned for us and we LOVED being able to spend some time with them!

We were also able to see my Grandparents who live in Logan
and had a great afternoon visiting with them and watching G run crazy in their backyard
